Fire crews will be hosting a charity car wash in Great Harwood over the weekend.
Firefighters at the Tesco in Great Harwood, on Queen St, between 10am and 2pm today (Saturday).
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “All funds raised will be donated to The Fire Fighters Charity (both cash and card payments are accepted). We hope to see you there.”
The Fire Fighters charity offer support for life-changing health and wellbeing support for emergency workers.
The charity was established during the Second World War to support the bereaved families of firefighters who had died during the Blitz.
Recently, the team in Blackburn took time out to clean cars over at the fire station off Canterbury Street and raised a total of £526.72.
