South African professional Friedel de Wet took four wickets in his final home appearance as Chorley enjoyed an emphatic nine wicket win over Darwen.
The visitors were dismissed for 87 before opener Josh Tolley hit 46 not out as Chorley cruised to victory with time to spare despite a break for rain.
One cause for celebration for Darwen was that Gareth Cordingley reached 10,000 league runs before being caught behind for 13.
