Double gold for Chorley race walker

Chorley Athletic Club's much travelled international race walking champion John Payn secured double gold in the British Master's Race Walking Championships .

The events, held at the former race course at Northampton, saw John clock 2hrs 27 mins 26 secs to secure first place in the 20K.

He then continued on and finished first again in the 30K in 3 hrs 47 mins 27 secs.

John's tally of International and National titles this year his now almost in double figures.
