A Chorley optitians celebrated its 15th anniversary with a week of funraising for a local children's hospice.
Specsavers in Chorley celebrated the milestone and the opening of the newly made over store with a party for both staff and customers on Wednesday, complete with birthday cakes and balloons.
The Chapel Street store also donated £5 from every eye test carried out throughout the week to Derian House, Euxton, which provides specialist care and support to children with a terminal or life threatening illness.
Specsavers store director, Antony Mazeika, said: "To mark our birthday and our new-look store we wanted to host a party for all the staff and customers who have supported us over the last 15 years.
"We also wanted to raise as much money as possible for Derian House by donating money from each eye test to support the great work that they do."
Specsavers’ new store stocks a full range of designer frames from the likes of Missoni, Red or Dead and Jaspar Conran.
