No blue bins please

I can't say that I am pleased to hear the council are thinking of introducing blue recycling bins.
I went somewhere recently that had purple ones, and couldn't help but think how ugly and out of place they looked in the countryside, and in the town for that matter.
At least the brown and green containers are inkeeping with our local landscape.
Please - no blue bins!
