Re: How Can Market Street be Revitalised?

So the council is again 'employing 'consultants' and carrying out lengthy surveys with the aim of revitalising Market Street.

Yet another waste of our money in both employing the consultants and with the endless hours of non-productive meaningless meetings for council staff, keeping them in work without any positive outcome.

The answer is clear to anyone not employed by the council.

Use all of this wasted taxpayers' money to offer reduced business rates and rents to prospective tenants of the empty premises. Problem solved. But this would mean the council doing what's right for the public... not for themselves.

The council employing consultants? waste of money !!!
All they need to do is ask us how to solve the problem, and save loads of money .
